The warmest glove you will find; a bomber mountaineering glove. The liners come out a little too easy.

Very easy to put on and secure with amazing traction. Good for mountaineering or vertical ice.

Oddly the liner is waterproof, not the shell. They are extremely warm and with surprising dexterity thanks to a trigger finger in the liner.

EMS Mountain Light -20 Sleeping Bag:
800 fill down, looks like a banana, and can usually be had for under $300. It isn’t as wide as some bags but it keeps you toasty. Get the long version.

They are the standard in double plastic mountaineering boots. They are heavy but wicked warm and bombproof. Good for 8 mile snow treks or vertical ice.

MSR Lighting Ascent Snowshoes:
They are Very light with unbelievable 360 degree traction. Optional flotation tails add extreme versatility. One of the best gear buys of the season.

It is affordable, weighs 1 lb, is rugged, breathable and waterproof. Everything you need and want in a mountaineering or ski s shell.
