2011 Winter Gear in Review:

Now is the time to take advantage of huge end of season sales to stock up on gear for next winter. How will you know what to buy? Hopefully I can help. I bought a lot of gear this season so here is what I am going to do. Below you will find very brief reviews for some of my favorite gear from this winter. If you want more info on anything just let me know.

Outdoor Research Alti Glove:

The warmest glove you will find; a bomber mountaineering glove. The liners come out a little too easy.

Black Diamond Mercury Mitten:

Oddly the liner is waterproof, not the shell. They are extremely warm and with surprising dexterity thanks to a trigger finger in the liner.
