Where will your adventures take you in 2013? There are endless possibilities and we all have different goals but we will all need to be hydrated to accomplish them. That is why New England Outside is starting 2013 with an AVEX bottle giveaway!
AVEX recently provided New England Outside with a few Highland and Brazos bottles to review. I was very impressed with both bottles and that is why I am excited to be able to give a few bottles to some lucky readers!
What you can win:
The Highland bottle is a 16 oz. stainless steel bottle with double wall and vacuum insulation. It also has an AUTOSEAL lid for spill-proof one handed operation. This bottle is a lot lighter than an insulated thermos and is a great way to enjoy hot drinks at the office or during short hikes.
The Brazos bottle is an indestructible BPA free plastic bottles designed for hiking, gym or everyday use. It also has the AUTOSEAL lid for one handed operation along with a built in carabineer for easy carrying. The Brazos is a great alternative to a standard Nalgene bottle.
How you can win:
I am giving away 4 Highland bottles and 2 Brazos bottles and there will be 4 total winners which mean there are many chances to win. The first and second place winners will each receive 1 Brazos bottle and 1 Highland bottle. The third and fourth place winners will each receive a Highland bottle.
2013 has just begun so it is fitting that this contest has an outside goal’s theme. You have a lot of opportunities this year so I am giving you five opportunities to win!
Entry 1: Leave a comment on this post that explains you’re most epic 2013 outdoor goals and how an AVEX bottle can help make that happen. It could be climbing the driveway or climbing Everest, there is no wrong answer!
Entry 2: Share this post on your Facebook Page. Be sure to explain the contest along with a comment about your 2013 outdoor goals and how an AVEX bottle can help make it happen. In order to get credit you must leave another comment on this post, explaining that you shared this on Facebook. This comment must be separate from any other comments you might have made.
Entry 3: Share this post on Twitter. Be sure to include the following things in your tweet:
-your 2013 outdoor goal, I understand if this needs to be brief!
               -a link to this post
              – @NewEnglnOutside
               -#AVEXgiveaway
Once you have done that you must leave another comment here, separate from other comments, which states you shared the post on Twitter.
Entry 4 and 5 This will take a little more effort so it is worth 2 entries. If you have a blog, write a post about this giveaway with a link to this post. Be sure to state your 2013 outdoor goals and how an AVEX bottle can help make them happen in your post. Once you have done that you must leave yet another comment on this post that includes the link to your blog post.
So there you have it, there are 5 ways to win an AVEX Highland and/ or a Brazos bottle. If you do all 5 steps then you will need to leave 4 separate comments on this post, sounds easy right?
Comments will be accepted until midnight January 17, 2013. I will then randomly select the winners. The first winner I select will be first place, the second will be second place, the third will be third place and the fourth will be fourth place. If you win, and I have your contact info, I will let you know. Otherwise you must check back here on January 17, 2012 to see if you won. Once the winner is announced, if I don’t hear from the winner within a day I will give the book to the runner up.Â

One of my goals is to get my daughters hiking with me more. This would be easier to have some hot chocolate (from an insulated bottle) at the top of the mountain!
My goal is to hike Mount Washington at least twice. Staying hydrated up there is super important, and I'm still looking for a good reusable water bottle. When it gets cold, it would be an added treat to have hot tea to keep me going, too!
Steve, that is a great goal!
Kristin, Wow that is impressive that you seek to climb the gnarliest peak in the east at least twice! Best of luck and be sure to stay hydrated!
We will see. I'll have a year to do it twice, which seems doable… summiting, however, is the tricky part!
Hello. Just came across this blog and I want to say that I love it. Will be checking up on it repeatedly through my first winter away from New England. Have some extra great adventures for me!!
I just had a baby on the 1st! I'm looking forward to getting back into racing.

My 2013 goal is to run the Wapack Trail Race this summer. An AVEX bottle would definitely help with hydration before and after the race.
I run road races on a monthly basis and water is a must, before and after. I'd love to win! celticsdraftee AT aol DOT com

Jennifer, that is awesome..do you still run races all winter?
Peter, I love that goal and hope I can join you on that one!
Lauren, I am excited that you like my blog! I hope to fill with plenty of winter adventures for you!
wow…that is an amazing goal!
My goal for 2013 is to summit Mt. Washington on July 4TH! We already have reservations at Lakes of the Clouds hut for the night! I sweat so much I always have to carry extra (more then the recommended amount) This bottle would help for that! I also could use it in the gym as I sweat a lot there too

My goal is to get my family (husband, son and I) out hiking more… An Avex bottle will help keep hydrated…
Posting to Facebook…
Oh yeah! Started off the year with a New Years Day race. My partner and I do races just about every month of the year 🙂 In the winter you gotta bundle up a bit.
I'm planning a wedding for this coming August. It's not an epic adventure, but it will be an epic moment in my life. I'll probably be sucking down lots of water to calm my nerves and deal with the warm weather and all. sethrich[at]hotmail[dot]com
